'Bark Portrait' is inspired by fragments of bark and lichen found on pavements around London.

Using a mould made from a portrait study, Emma attempted to join these fragments together to recreate the portrait. 

​

The resulting peice shows the form of the face emerging from the overlapping peices of bark.
